Who will perform the X-ray examination?

A registered technologist at the Saudi Commission of Health Sciences who has had extensive training in radiological procedures will perform the mammogram or and the ultrasound.

Who will interpret my exam?

A radiologist who has pursued specialized training in diagnostic radiology and advanced training in women’s imaging will interpret your examination and provide a written report to your referring physician. Our radiologists are Board Certified by the American and Canadian Board of Radiology.

Can the doctor discuss the results with the radiologist?

Our radiologist is happy to discuss all the images with the referring physician to ensure well understanding of the clinical situation. Our radiologist is happy to send explanatory videos to the referring physicians or have a FaceTime call to show the referring physicians the findings on the mammogram or the ultrasound or any other imaging modalities done outside the center.

Can I send my X-ray images from outside Jeddah for interpretation?

Yes,images can be sent to the clinic on A CD with a DICOM format to our radiologist. You can ship the images through any shipping agent such as ARAMEX or else and your images will be viewed and a report will be issued for the provided images.

Can I get Video consultation on my previous reports?

Yes, a video call can be organized by taking an appointment after sending your previous report and the CD to our clinic. Our radiologist will issue a report and discuss the findings and the best management options needed. This can be offer to the patients from outside Jeddah

Can I schedule my biopsy from outside Jeddah?

Yes the biopsy can be scheduled through our clinic but ensure bringing all the CDs and the previous reports with you for review on the date of the biopsy.

Do I have to go where my Dr. refers me?

We do recommend to go back to your doctor to review the results and discuss the best management options available

What if the doctor requests my previous reports?

You or your physician may notify us prior to your appointment and we will prepare the CD with your images and a copy of the report. Please call in advance so your CD will be ready. Be sure to have your ID with you to receive the CD

Can I schedule an appointment at a time that suits me?

We offer Extended Flexible Hours of Operation as per the availability of our doctor. Please call our clinic to set-up a time that works for you.

Upon completion of the examination, how do I obtain the results?

Your results are delivered to your referring physician and or you within 24-48 hours. Please give them some time to review the results and get back to you. You can schedule your follow up appointment for any time after 48 hours.
